Mutton Curry Nangil Nadu Style

Serving size - 4

Ingredients

mutton (goat meat) - 1/2 kg
onions
small chopped - 1 cup (replacement medium onion - 1)
(onion small => red pearl onions or shallot onions)
tomato small - 1
cardomon - 2
cloves - 2
ginger/garlic paste - 2 tsp
chilli powder - 1 tbsp
coriander powder - 2 tbsp
turmeric powder - a pinch
Curry leaves - 5
Coriander leaves
salt to taste

Preparation method:
  1. In a pan, heat oil.
  2. Add cloves, cardomon and saute for 30 sec
  3. Add chopped onion and saute until golden brown
  4. Add ginger/garlic paste and saute for 1 mins
  5. Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt. Saute for 1 mins
  6. Add tomato. mix well.
  7. Add mutton. Saute for 3 mins
  8. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  9. Add curry leaves, coriander leaves

Note : You can also add 1/2 cup coconut milk after taking out from pressure cooker.
